It is that time of year again, "Big-Time Bug Season".

If you do not have a pest control company, you should at least contract a pest inspector to review your property. Be there while they are inspecting so they can show you any problems that may exist. You can then decide what to do.

I do recommend that you learn about what you can do to prevent problems. Natural Resources Defense Council has a web page dedicated on Safe Ways to Control Pests Around Your Home, which is an excellent first start. Another resource to learn about pests and what to do is offered as a free service by the University of Maryland Home and Garden Information Center.
